Правила доменов .GN
Introduced in the year 1994, the .gn extension is the ccTLD (country code top-level domain) for Guinea. A local contact is required to register a domain name under .gn. Registrations must be from organizations with a real presence in the country and with a verifiable intent to use the domain name on a regular basis on the internet. The registration in the .gn domain is done through email using a simple ASCII form. The sponsoring organization for .gn registration is the Centre National des Sciences Halieutiques de Boussoura.
Some of the second level domains allowed are:
- .com.gn : Commercial
- .ac.gn : Academic
- .gov.gn : Government
- .org.gn : Not-for-Profit
- .net.gn : Network infrastructure
The GN domain application must be sent by email to the GN domain registrar or contact of an assigned subdomain. To register a new domain name, you should first specify:
- the type of registration
- the name of the domain
- the name of the entity represented
- a small description about the domain
- the name of the administrative head of the organization
- and the date that it is expected to be fully functional
Technical contact, primary server, secondary server and internet host information are all required. The application process is expected to be completed in ten working days.
Applicants are allowed to register more than one .gn domain name. |
